Cardi B admits she’s “very impatient” in the kitchen but praises husband Offset’s cooking skills, especially when it comes to making breakfast. In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Cardi discusses her collaboration with Whipshots and Patti LaBelle’s food line, Patti’s Good Life.
“I could cook, but there are certain things I just don’t like to do,” Cardi, 31, explains. “I’m very impatient,” she adds, revealing why she’s not fond of every aspect of cooking.
Luckily, Offset comes to the rescue. “He makes a meаn breakfast,” she says of the Migos rapper. “He can cook a little something something.”
The couple’s kitchen dynamics were brought up during discussions about their collaboration with Whipshots and Patti LaBelle’s food line. They are teaming up for a seasonal partnership, combining Whipshots alcоhоlic whipped cream and Patti’s Good Life pies for a holiday campaign.
As for their Thanksgiving plans, Cardi mentions that they vary each year. With their children, Kulture Kiari, 5, and Wave Set, 2, they alternate between Cardi’s New York-based family and Offset’s “real down South” family. Regardless of location, Cardi states that she doesn’t take charge of the kitchen.
