Taylor Swift‘s new double album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department’, likely has two songs penned by the 14-time Grammy Award winner about boyfriend Travis Kelce.
Alongside the more obvious hints in ‘The Alchemy’, Swifties’ detective work has shed light on Swift writing ‘So High School’ about the Kansas City Chiefs tight end as well.
Swift’s lyrics about Kelce infer the pair are the ones who will be married one day.
Around the time Kelce and Swift’s romance became public last September, a video resurfaced of ET Canada asking the tight end to play a game of ‘kiss, marry, kill’ with Swift being one option.
Fellow popular singers Ariana Grande and Katy Perry were Kelce’s other two choices in the video from several years ago.
Swift’s newest album likely contains two songs written about Chiefs boyfriend Travis Kelce
Kelce and Swift have been dating since September and had a public smooch at the Super Bowl
In a six-year-old interview, Travis Kelce played ‘Kiss, Marry, Kill’ with Taylor Swift as an option
Kelce does not give Swift the ‘kill’ option, which he gets out of the way early with Grande. Six years before his romance with the ‘Anti-Hero’ singer, he gave her the ‘kiss’ option, while choosing to marry Perry.
‘Are you gonna marry, kiss, or kill me (Kill me)/It’s just a game, but really (Really)/I’m bettin’ on all three for us two (All three)/Get my car door, isn’t that sweet? (That sweet)/Then pull me to the backsеat (Backseat)/No one’s ever had me (Had me), not like you,’ Swift sings.
Kelce and Swift have been publicly dating since she attended a Chiefs game against the Chicago Bears on September 24 at Arrowhead Stadium.
Their relationship has gained significant public interest, due to both being incredibly popular in their specific fields.
Swift attended 13 Chiefs games in total this season, with Kansas City holding a 10-3 record in those contests.
Swift was in attendance at all four Chiefs’ playoff games in different cities, including the Super Bowl in Las Vegas, one day after the Japanese leg of her ‘Eras Tour’ ended in Tokyo.
Kelce has returned the favor, attending his girlfriend’s concerts in Argentina, Australia, and Singapore in recent months.
