Offset Sends Birthday Wishes to Migos Bandmate Quavo Amidst Rumors of Feud: ‘Love You’

Offset is putting an end to speculations of any rift with his fellow Migos member, Quavo.

Taking to social media on Tuesday, he extended birthday greetings to Quavo, showcasing that their bond remаins strong.

“Happy gday my brother @quavohuncho love you 4L [for life],” Offset, 32, shared on his Instagram Stories, as reported by HipHopDX. He accompanied the message with a throwback photo featuring the trio — also including the late Takeoff — who formed the group in 2008.

In October, during an episode of The Breakfast Club on Power 105.1 FM, the “Power Moves” artist delved into his relationship with Quavo, 33.

“That’s my brother at the end of the day,” expressed the rap star about Quavo. “We’re good, though, bro. We were just with each other in Paris. We be talking because we be going through emotions and s— with this s—.”

Offset further mentioned that they stayed connected even after the tragic passing of their collaborator and Quavo’s nephew Takeoff, who died at age 28 due to gu𝚗 viоlence in November 2022.

“It don’t be for the public. That’s the thing. Like when it’s like this, it don’t be everything for the public to be kiki-ing. And everybody want us to be — but we still got to move in our own worlds, but it’s all love,” he affirmed.

Continuing, Offset shared, “At the end of the day, we lost a brother; we can’t rock out.”

In June, the duo reunited on stage at the BET Awards for the first time following Takeoff’s passing — a decision that Offset initially hesitated about.

It was Pharrell Williams who convinced him to proceed. “I had talked to Pharrell, we were sitting at a [Paris Fashion Week] show, and I was telling him like, ‘Man, I don’t know if we should do it because this just ain’t gonna be right, and I feel like I’m scаred it’s gonna put me back in that moment.’”

“[Williams] was like, ‘No, you gotta do that for the world and him,’” recounted Offset. “’Y’all the biggest group ever in hip-hop. And also, he would want that, bro.’ He was like, ‘You need that energy of you and your brother rocking that stage again, even if it’s for the last time or whatever.”

Following their BET Awards performance, Offset felt a sense of closure. “If you go into something with the wrong energy, you ain’t gonna do it right. We went into it with the right energy, and that’s my brother,” he emphasized.

In February 2023, rumors circulated about a physical altercation between Offset and Quavo backstage at the Grammy Awards. However, Offset dismissed these claims on social media afterward.

The alleged tension between them dates back to 2022 when Quavo and Takeoff collaborated as a duo, releasing music under the moniker Unc & Phew and dropping an album titled “Only Built for Infinity Links.”
