BALTIMORE, MARYLAND - AUGUST 12: Center Jason Kelce #62 of the Philadelphia Eagles looks on after a preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium on August 12, 2023 in Baltimore, Maryland.

The Kansas City Chiefs don’t need a lot of help marketing themselves or finding new fans.

On top of being back-to-back Super Bowl champions and having the undisputed best player in the game in Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce’s relationship with pop star Taylor Swift has taken their popularity to new heights.

If that wasn’t enough, they’ll now have plenty of rugby fans also tuning in to watch their games.

They signed rugby rising star Louis Rees-Zammit, who made the shocking decision to make the jump to football.

With that in mind, Jason Kelce claimed that he hopes he takes the world by storm, adding that he could be an electric player and someone very fun to watch in the league.

Also, he talked to Travis on their New Heights podcast about how handsome Rees-Zammit was, adding that he could be the most marketable guy in the league if he worked hard.

All jokes aside, it’ll be very interesting to see how he pans out and whether he makes the 53-man roster.

Of course, there will be a learning curve and some growing pains as he makes the transition from one sport to the other, but he clearly has the physical tools and athleticism to be a factor in the game if given enough time and opportunities.

It’s not usual to see stars in one sport make the jump and test the waters in something different, and he deserves a lot of credit for having the courage to do that.
