A Philadelphia Eagles legend looks set to be present at WrestleMania 40.

According to Fightful Select, WWE are planning for Jason Kelce to appear at WrestleMania XL. There is no word on what Kelce will be doing on the show but a WWE source told PWInsider if Kelce was booked “you’d think we’d book him to do something physical in the stadium he called home, right?”

It emerged earlier this week that WWE had reached out to Jason Kelce about a WrestleMania appearance. The 36-year-old was the center for the Philadelphia Eagles from 2011 until his retirement at the end of the 2023 NFL season. He won one Super Bowl with the team at Super Bowl LII. Kelce also hosts a podcast with his brother Travis, the tight end of the Kansas City Chiefs and boyfriend of Taylor Swift.

Other celebrities scheduled for WrestleMania 40 are Lil Wayne, Meek Mill, and Drew Barrymore. The company is working on a special entrance for the opening match of WrestleMania 40 too and plans are in place to combat the frigid weather in Philadelphia with a heated ring.
