Jason Kelce commented on Travis Kelce’s memorable speech at his 2024 White House visit

President Joe Biden shakes hands with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce during the team's visit to the White House on May 31, 2024.

The Kansas City Chiefs were back at the White House on Friday to celebrate their Super Bowl championship during the 2023 season.

Everyone remembers last year’s hilarious moment when Travis Kelce went right up to the microphone, but was pulled back by Patrick Mahomes before he could say anything. And the quarterback also took a moment to apologize to the crowd.

But this time, Travis was personally invited up to speak by none other than President Joe Biden.

“My fellow Americans. I’m going to be honest, President Biden, they told me I’d get tased if I came up here, so I’m going back to my spot,” Travis Kelce said on the stage.

It was short but sweet, while also being memorable and hilarious. Exactly what Travis was probably going for.

And his brother, Jason Kelce, took a moment to comment on Travis’ speech.

“Man, I’m not gonna lie, that was tight. Well done @tkelce, doesn’t get much cooler than that!,” Jason wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Travis was almost certainly going to be on the spotlight during this trip, especially now that he has both the Swifties and NFL fans on his side. So anything he did was bound to be good.

And he didn’t disappoint.

The Chiefs got to go back to the White House and could have another trip in store if they manage to make NFL history and do what Tom Brady and the New England never could: three-peat.

Even Biden wasn’t totally opposed to the idea.

“Welcome back… winning back-to-back I kind of like that,” the President of the United States said.

That’s also because he’s looking to go back-to-back in the next Presidential Election.

So all in all, this was a good trip. And maybe there will be another chance for Travis to grab the microphone next year.
