After the Super Bowl, many have chimed in with their take on the viral incident, including LeSean McCoy, who knows Andy Reid and Travis Kelce well, given his short stint with the Kansas City Chiefs.

LeSean McCoy, now a talk show host with FOX, spoke to Colin Cowherd about what happened between Andy Reid and Travis Kelce, and he said that the two were having a ball in Super Bowl 58.

“I guess on TV, it looks a certain way, right?” said McCoy on The Herd. “Andy Reid likes these types of players, and he’s no chump. Ain’t nobody can bully Andy Reid. They were having fun there. They were excited. Travis Kelce is like, ‘Let’s go!’”

“I’ve seen DeSean Jackson run up on Andy Reid, bump him, and be like, ‘Let’s go baby!’ Andy likes that,” he added.

According to McCoy, who won his first Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2019 against, you guessed it, the San Francisco 49ers, the bump by Travis Kelce is a mere show of passion.

LeSean McCoy went on to say that Andy Reid is up there as one of the greatest NFL coaches of all time, not only because of his tactical nous but also because of his knack for getting the best out of his players, which Travis Kelce agrees with.

“And another thing about Andy Reid that’s funny is that there are times in the game that he’ll come up to you and whisper, ’50 yards is all you got?’ So, he knows how to get it out of you,” shared McCoy.

“He’s one of the best leaders of men I’ve ever seen in my life, and he’s helped me a lot with that, with channeling that emotion, with channeling that passion. I owe my entire career to that guy and being able to kind of control how emotional I get and just love him,” added Kelce via ESPN.
