Cardi B recently opened up about her feelings following her split from rapper Offset, describing the adjustment as “a little bit difficult.”

The couple, who share children Kulture and Wave, parted ways in December 2023 after six years of marriage.

“I’ve been adapting to my new personal life and it’s just been a little bit difficult. Especially because I have a lot of work to do and everything, but so far so good. I’m not in a bad space but I’m in a very different space,” Cardi B shared.

She reflected on a period in her life from ages 19 to 22 when she felt isolated and focused solely on her work. Now, she finds herself in a similar mindset of distancing herself from others as she looks forward to creating new music.

“And this time around in life I feel like I’m in that space again. I’ve completely distanced myself from people. I just can’t wait to put out my music and do different stuff,” she expressed.

Cardi B initially addressed her separation in December, admitting that she was initially apprehensive about sharing the news with her fans.
