Cardi B has announced that she will be directing an upcoming music video for her husband, Offset. The rapper shared the news in response to a post on social media featuring a clip from a short film by Atlanta artist Lyrik London, which featured dancers performing to Cardi’s 2019 single “Press,” a music video she directed herself.

In her response, Cardi expressed her love for the visual and revealed that while “Press” may not have been her highest-charting song, it remаins one of her best music videos, which she proudly directed.

When asked if she plans to direct more music videos, Cardi confirmed that she will be taking on the role for an upcoming collaboration between Offset and another artist. She teased that the music video will be amazing and hinted that the featured artist may be R&B star Chlöe Bailey. Offset previously teased a collaboration with Bailey on an episode of Bardi Gаng Radio, and his liking of Cardi’s post about directing further fueled speculation.

Offset’s return to the music scene seems imminent, with the rapper recently releasing his first solo single in three years, titled “5 4 3 2 1.” He is set to follow this up with his second single, “CODE,” featuring Moneybagg Yo.

Cardi B’s involvement in directing Offset’s music video adds another layer to the couple’s collaborative efforts and further solidifies their presence in the music industry.
