Scottie Pippen keeps coming after Michael Jordan, attacking MJ for being a bad teammate and even a lazy player. After winning six championships in eight years during the 90s, Pippen is telling his side of this story by criticizing Jordan, Phil Jackson, and many more.
His book, ‘Unguardable,’ came out earlier this week and Pippen didn’t mince words when referring to Jordan. One of the biggest things he wrote was that Jordan ‘ruined’ basketball since he didn’t want to pass, rebound or guard the best player on the opposing team.
Pippen went on to say that LeBron James is the opposite of that, labeling the Los Angeles Lakers superstar as the GOAT over his former teammate.
“I may go as far to say Mike ruined basketball,” Pippen wrote. “In the 80s on the playgrounds you’d have everyone moving the ball around — passing to help the team. That stopped in the 90s. Kids wanted to be ‘Like Mike.’ Well, Mike didn’t want to pass — didn’t want to rebound, or defend the best player. He wanted everything done for him. That’s why I always believed LeBron James was the greatest player this game has ever seen — he does everything and embodies what the game is truly about.”

It’s normal for people to be undecided on the GOAT debate. Trae Young thought LeBron was the greatest of all time until he saw The Last Dance, but it seems that Pippen also changed his mind based on the way he was portrayed in the award-winning docu-series.
Last year, while the Lakers were trying to win the championship in the bubble, Pippen claimed LeBron needed to lead the team by himself, stating that Anthony Davis was more important for the squad.
Before that, he claimed that James wasn’t on the same level as Kobe Bryant and Jordan. It’s true that since LeBron landed in Los Angeles, he collected one more championship, but Pippen had made comments that suggested Jordan was the greatest of all time over James.
That’s why fans are disappointed with Pippen; he’s now talking crazy about Jordan and many folks believe he’s just trying to gain publicity and not tell the truth about his time with the Chicago Bulls.
