Saquon Barkley sounded like a man with a plan during an upcoming appearance on the “New Heights” podcast.
The popular show hosted by Travis and Jason Kelce will feature the former Giants running back this week and a teaser clip of the episode on Tuesday seemed to show the now-Eagles back trying to lure Jason Kelce back onto the field.

A caption on the clip, posted to the show’s account on X, read: “Saquon came on the show and started recruiting.”
The elder Kelce brother announced his retirement from the NFL on March 4 after a 13-year career with the Eagles.
“I’m like a kid in a candy store,” Barkley starts off saying in the clip. “I’m happy, I got a fresh start. I can’t wait to meet everybody and just go out there and play ball.”
“It’s going to be so fun to watch,” Jason Kelce responds. “It’s going to be so fun to be a part of, it’s going to be great.”

That’s when Barkley appeared to break out his recruiting hat.
“You don’t got to watch it, ya know?” Barkley said before the clip ends.
Jason Kelce went through a lengthy decision process before announcing his retirement earlier this month during an emotional press conference in Philadelphia.
Travis Kelce was in attendance for the announcement.
Barkley signed with the Eagles after free agency opened, ending his tenure with the Giants who had drafted him in the first round in 2018.
Giants owner John Mara told reporters in Orlando at the NFL owners meeting that he was “sick” over losing the running back and they had “a very nice exchange” through text message after it was clear that Barkley would be leaving.
