Seth Myers showed a picture of Elliott picking up Brunson off the ground. Brunson, who is from Philadelphia, said the photo was taken at the Disney upfronts, where networks and streaming services present their upcoming shows to advertisers. Since Disney owns ABC, where ‘Abbott Elementary’ is airing, the photo is a cute way to promote the series.
Brunson laughed and said, “Hey, I’m so short! I haven’t been this high in the air in a long time. This was so crazy! Look at that air!” She joked, “The last time I felt that way was on the Tower of Terror.”
Brunson continued, “I swear to you, my stomach went up and everything. But he did ask for consent. He said, ‘Can I pick you up?’ I said, ‘Yeah, that’s fine.’ But I didn’t know I would be flying! I had no idea.”
Elliott has since retired from playing for the Eagles and now works as a commentator for ESPN, another Disney-owned property. He previously made guest appearances on an episode of ‘Abbott Elementary’ with Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts. Elliott’s love for Philadelphia has grown since his successful years playing football in the city.”
