PHILADELPHIA Eagles center Jason Kelce has announced he is retiring from the NFL after 13 years with the franchise.

The 36-year-old six-time All-Pro earned over $80 million playing football, but he won’t be entirely out of the spotlight, considering his many career ventures.

Despite retiring from the NFL, Kelce still has plenty to look forward to.

The seven-time Pro Bowler could delve into an acting career.

He’s appeared on an episode of the hit sitcom It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, per IMDb.

Actor Rob McElhenney even joked after Kelce won the Super Bowl that he filled in as a stunt double for the famed character Fat Mac.

Jokes aside, Kelce also appeared with then-teammate Beau Allen in a Super Bowl LII-themed two-part episode of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Charlie’s Home Alone and The Gang Wins the Big Game.

Following his acting stints, the Ohio native turned to the recording booth to create an album.

In 2022, Kelce helped release A Philly Special Christmas.

It’s the debut studio album by The Philly Specials – a group comprised of Eagles offensive lineman Lane Johnson, Jordan Mailata, and Kelce.

The album has eight songs centered around Christmas.

Because of the album’s initial success, Kelce and the group expanded in 2023 with more songs and features in A Philly Special Christmas Special.

All proceeds from the albums went to charity, generating over $3 million raised from just the second album.

When he’s not singing, Kelce can be found in a different studio, this time for his podcast.

Jason stars on the New Heights podcast with his brother and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis.

The brothers launched the podcast in 2022.

Last year, it was the third most followed show on Apple Podcasts.

Even though Kelce’s hanging up his cleats, he’s bound to be enshrined in football history forever.

He’ll have to wait five full seasons before being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, somewhere he’ll most likely end up.

Kelce is the fifth center in NFL history with at least six All-Pro selections – the other four all have spots reserved in Canton.

In Week 8, Kelce previewed the end of the season, saying, “This very well could be it,” on The NFL Report.

Now, that moment is finally here.
