Air Jordan has created it’s impact on the basketball world. Looks like it’s time for soccer now. The wealthiest basketball player ever, Michael Jordan, has chosen the faces for his brand wisely. Young athletes with a scope to become a superstar or Hall of Famer is the character trait of the faces of his brand. Some famous names are Luka Doncic and Jayson Tatum. Now, the 6-time champion has chosen none other than Kylian Mbappé to increase the multi-billion company’s impact in the soccer world.

Joining hands with a $4 billion franchise and Mbappé for the third time, Air Jordan might have outdone themselves with a few added features.

Third time might be the charm for Michael Jordan

October 2020 was the start of this famous collaboration. Kylian Mbappé, who is the face of the famous football club Paris Saint-Germain is also the face of Air Jordan now. PSG’s 2020 edition had both their home and away kits designed by the multi-billion dollar franchise with an attractive purple color. The second time, PSG had both Neymar Jr. and Mbappé for promoting Air Jordans.

The second edition had some bright black and white shades with the attractive Jordan logo on the front. However, the third and the latest release excels the first two with a few added features.

This time with a darker shade of blue, PSG’s third kit will have two added kicks in it.

None other than the Air Jordan 6 low and the Jordan MVP. The brand announced, “Celebrating the bold style and the flare of the Parisian game with the iconic elephant print… each piece is representing the boldness of Paris-Saint Germain athletes.”

This brilliant move to add Jordan’s famous kicks to the kit has already created hype around the kit.

Why did MJ pick Kylian Mbappé?

Apart from the fact that the 24-year-old is a worldwide sensation and a recognized star, both Jordan and Mbappé seem to have close ties.

The French star revealed in an interview, “When you grow up, you admire a lot more people, even in other sports. That’s Michael Jordan, there’s only one.”

Moreover, Mbappé seems to be an ardent fan of Jordan’s kicks. He even wore them to a Brooklyn Nets game in January this year. All things considered, it is only fair that the Chicago Bulls icon chose the Frenchman. What are your thoughts on the third kit? Share your take in the comments below.
