Jason Kelce’s Former Teammate Recalls ‘Carrying Him’ Home After Messy First Date with Now-Wife Kylie

Jason Kelce's Former Teammate Beau Allen Recalls 'Carrying Him' Home After Drunk First Meeting with Wife Kylie

Jason Kelce’s former teammate Beau Allen is sharing his recollection of the NFL star’s drunken first meeting with his now-wife, Kylie Kelce.

Allen, 31, played for the Philadelphia Eagles alongside Jason, 35, from 2014 through 2017 and was among the friends who got to experience the now-infamous first meeting between Kylie, 31 and Jason.

In Prime Video’s documentary Kelce, Jason and Kylie talk about how they met on Tinder, and Jason fell asleep at the bar during their first date.

Allen said he was “actually privileged to be part of” their love story on his new podcast Fax and The King, co-hosted by former defensive tackle Nate Collins.

Allen recalled Jason being “really excited about her” and “talking about her in the cafeteria” before they met. Jason even brainstormed “different lines and stuff he’s going to say to her,” Allen shared.

The former Eagles player said the couple’s first meeting took place at the “legendary bar” Buffalo Billiards after the NFL team’s holiday party, “which is a big deal for the Eagles,” Allen said.

“I’m not even going to lie to you — we were busted up,” Allen recalled. “I’ll never forget we pre-gamed this party and we [went] to the holiday [party] and I’m kind of thinking to myself I’ve got to keep an eye on these dudes because I don’t really know how this s—‘s going to go.”

Jason “was smashed” by the time he met up with Kylie, according to Allen, who described his former teammate as “one of those dudes where when he gets drunk, he’s out.”

After Jason “fell asleep on the bar” that night, Allen recalled realizing “we need to get him the f— out of here because he’s in bad shape.”

When the teammates left Buffalo Billiards that night, Allen had “to fire-man carry him home” for “maybe half a mile,” he said during the episode.

“He kept f–ing with me during it. So, I was carrying him, and it was exhausting because he was pure dead weight. It’s like literally carrying a corpse. But he would come to life randomly and squirm around and try and get me to drop him,” Allen remembered, adding that Kylie must have “really swept him off his feet” that night.

“I don’t know if the first date went that well but I guess it went really well because they got married, three beautiful daughters, and now they have a documentary about them,” Allen concluded.

Despite the rocky start after their first meeting, Kylie said in Kelce that Jason called her the next day and asked to see her again. “He did much better that time,” Kylie said in the documentary.
