Jason and Travis Kelce are just like us in that they also can’t seem to turn away from an episode of Law & Order.
The brothers opened up about their love of the show during the Wednesday, Nov. 29, episode of their podcast New Heights, and ironically enough, Travis’ new girlfriend Taylor Swift is also a huge fan of the series–even going as far as naming one of her cats after Mariska Hargitay‘s character Olivia Benson.
“We watched enough Law & Order [growing up] that I think we got addicted to anything crime-related,” Jason shared.
His younger brother didn’t deny the claims. Instead, the 34-year-old agreed with the Philadelphia Eagles center’s recollection. “Honestly, if Law & Order is on, I’ll just sit there for like five minutes and if I catch on, I am just there for an hour,” he added.
“If I ever just hear ‘Dun-dun,'” Jason replied, leading the two to chuckle. “I just sit down and ‘hear we go.'”
“Oh nice, I caught it from the beginning, so I can get all the details,” Travis shared.
The 36-year-old father of three interjected, “Were you original Law & Order or SVU?”
“I was whichever one Ed Kelce was watching,” the Kansas City Chiefs tight end quipped, noting their father didn’t discriminate against any one of the spinoffs, “I think it was pretty much all of them.”
“I think they’re both good; SVU is just more diabolical. Original Law & Order was just like murder,” Jason said, shaking his head. “SVU, there’s something about SVU crimes that you’re just like, ‘this guy’s a bad dude.'”
Well, it’s probably safe to say SVU was one thing that the Kelce family bonded over with Swift.
