LeBron James Celebrates Son Bronny's Birthday, Says He is the G.O.A.T 'On and Off the Court'

LeBron James is commemorating Bronny James’ birthday! The 38-year-old NBA sensation expressed his love and admiration for his son Bronny, who turned 19 on Friday, in a heartfelt Instagram tribute.

“On and off the court you’re the @bronny!!” LeBron wrote in the caption of his celebratory post, affirming Bronny’s status as the greatest of all time with a goat emoji.

LeBron added, “Happy Born-Day son!!! Love you ️ kid. Keep going up! 🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎,” to his message. Alongside the heartfelt words, the athlete shared a collection of snapshots featuring himself and Bronny.

One image captured the father-and-son duo beaming as they posed for a photo, while another showed them grinning at the camera, with Bronny giving a thumbs-up.

LeBron also shared several photos on his Instagram Story, showcasing his son’s journey in basketball from his childhood days to the present, as he continued to honor him on his birthday.

The NBA star’s tribute to his eldest son follows Bronny’s experience with a cardiac arrest during a workout at the University of Southern California in July.

In August, the James family disclosed that Bronny had been diagnosed with “an anatomically and functionally significant congenital heart defect,” which they assured “can and will be treated.”

Alongside Bronny, the former Lakers star also has two other children, Bryce Maximus, 16, and Zhuri Nova, 8, with his wife Savannah James, 37.

Savannah also shared a birthday tribute to their eldest child on Friday.

“Happiest 19th Birthday!!!!!” the mother of three wrote on Instagram. “I pray that the joy radiating from this photo is what you feel today. It’s been a few months, but the strength, resilience, and determination you’ve shown have kept us all grounded in the positive!”

“I love you so so much and I pray for your health, happiness, and prosperity this year and all years ahead of you!! 🤎🤎🤎,” Savannah concluded her post.

Last month, USC Basketball coach Andy Enfield provided another update, stating that Bronny “is doing very well,” though he mentioned he couldn’t comment on anything medically.

“He’s going to class and doing extremely well in school, and we’re really excited for him,” Enfield said, as he confirmed that the athlete did not participate in the team’s first game of the season, according to ESPN.
