The Milwaukee Bucks star forward and his family are used to lending a hand and covering the cost of diapers. After welcoming a baby daughter in September, the three-time MVP became a father.

“I’m just happy that our family can give back here and that I can give back to the community that has done so much for us,” Riddlesprigger remarked.

Antetokounmpo and Riddlesprigger have made significant contributions to the Milwaukee Diaper Mission.

“I hope that more people come to understand the value of having that giving heart,” said Riddlesprigger.

According to Milwaukee Diaper Mission, since its establishment in 2020, it has provided impoverished Milwaukee families with more than 1.3 million diapers.

There is a growing need each week. According to Meagan Johnson, the organization’s founder, one in two American families has trouble affording diapers.

Newborns may require up to 12 diapers every day, according to the National Diaper Bank network, costing between $70 and $80 per infant each month. Girl Scouts used their Saturday to stand outside of a Bay View Pick ‘n Save and ask for donations.

“People should come and do this as it will greatly assist them,” It also makes you feel better,” said Girl Scout Marian.

Milwaukee Diaper Mission has raised over $10,000 toward its $50,000 target. If someone couldn’t make it on Saturday, there will still be a diaper and wipe drive on Sunday before the Bucks play the Atlanta Hawks. The drive will take place outside Fiserv Forum from 4:30 until the end of the first quarter. Online donations of money are also appreciated.
