On Tuesday, images of three different Nike KD 17 hues appeared online. Famous music producers served as inspiration for all three pairs of shoes, with each artist receiving a unique colorway of the Nike KD 17.

There has been no official announcement of a release date or any information on the release on the Nike calendar. Photos of all three colorways have made it online, though, so fans have something to talk about until we hear more.

Metro Boomin—one of the three producers—has collaborated with Future, Travis Scott, and Drake, among other major artists of the current generation. The Alchemist, who has been responsible for producing numerous popular songs for the last twenty years, and Bink, who has worked with Jay-Z as a producer,

Below you can see all three of the new colorways:In considering Kevin Durant’s trademark Nike line and the most recent KD 17 shoes that he unveiled during the playoffs, it is clear that Durant has been an iconic figure for Nike for quite some time. His most recent release with the brand is just the latest chapter in his legendary tenure with the company. Durant has released more signature shoes than any other athlete, second only in the number of shoes published by Michael Jordan’s Jordan brand and preceded only by LeBron James’ Nike line.

Kevin Durant inked a lifetime deal with Nike last season, following the release of fifteen versions of his iconic KD shoes. The terms of his deal is unknown at this time; nonetheless, the collaboration has resulted in several iconic shoes for both brands.

At the time, Durant told Boardroom TV as follows:

I never imagined the extent to which our cooperation would progress when I initially signed with Nike. We’ve accomplished incredible things creatively and charitabley. We’ve been all over the globe and established a company that will endure for all time. Being in such exclusive company with this deal makes me proud, and I can’t wait for what the future holds,”The KD 16 and KD 17 are Kevin Durant’s subsequent trademark sneakers from Nike. Curiously, neither sneaker has been released at the beginning of the NBA regular season, but rather at the conclusion.

During this year’s playoff game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Durant introduced a new colorway of the Nike KD 17s—all black.

Lots more colorways have been out since then, and it seems like even more are on the way according to the new producer colorways.
