Following his first full season with the Phoenix Suns, Kevin Durant was chosen for the All-NBA second team.
The announcements were made on Wednesday night during the pregame show for the NBA on TNT.

Before the trade deadline of the previous season, the Sun acquired Durant in a sensational deal that sent Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, and several first-round selections to the Nets.
The Suns ended with a 49-33 record this season, good for the sixth seed. However, they were the first team out of the playoffs as Minnesota swept them in the opening round. The Timberwolves then defeated the Denver Nuggets, the reigning NBA champions, to make their first-ever trip to the Western Conference finals since 2004.
Booker averaged 27.1 points on 49.2% shooting, 6.9 assists, and 4.5 rebounds; nevertheless, despite this, he was not selected to the NBA All Star team.
This season, Booker played 68 games and shot 36.4% from three. In the 2020–21 season, he was named to the All-NBA first team. The Suns advanced to the finals but were defeated by the Bucks in six games.
In terms of scoring this season, Durant and Booker were fifth and sixth in the NBA. Both of them were selected to compete for Team USA in the Paris Olympics of 2024.
Further Suns: The G League franchise named “Valley Suns” by the Suns will host its home games at ASU’s Mullett Arena.
The following are the first, second, and third team choices, selected by 99 international media representatives who cast ballots:
First-team players: Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets; Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics; Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks; Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks; Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder.
