LeBron James officially left the Cleveland Cavaliers and his hometown of Akron, Ohio, when he signed a four-year, $153 mιllιon contract with the Los Angeles Lakers in the summer of 2018. Before making the transition, James spent a cool $23 mιllιon for a substantial property in Los Angeles’ affluent Brentwood area, adding it to his already outstanding real estate portfolio that already included his Akron home and another L.A. mansion.
The eight-bedroom, 11-bathroom estate is described as a “masterpiece of light and design” by Trulia and features white walls and counters covered in marble, natural French oak floors imported from Spain, and a neutral color scheme.
The home, which was constructed in 2017, has a gated driveway, a custom chef’s kitchen, showroom-level walk-in closets, a private patio in the main bedroom, a rooftop terrace, theater room, wine cellar, cigar lounge, onyx bar, indoor/outdoor gym, spa (complete with steam room, sauna, shower, and massage room), oversized pool and spa, outdoor kitchen, guest quarters, and a “auto gallery”—a fancy nɑme for a garage. Here’s a look inside LeBron James’ newest residence in Los Angeles.
The sparkling French range, black and white bookend marble backsplash, and matching island make the spacious kitchen shine. Warmth is added by the herringbone-patterned floor of oak and the polished brass accents on the cabinetry, range, and lighting.
The key to luxurious living in LA is bringing the outside inside. Whether you’re sitting at the bar counter or on the sofa by the warm fire, the floor-to-ceiling sliding doors with trendy black steel accent let fresh air flow through this spacious living area.
The enormous bed and the fuzzy decorations give the bedroom a regal atmosphere. The bright sitting space with the curved bean sofa and tree stump tables bordered by large pieces of art, however, might be the nicest feature.
While the walls of this spa with a view are completely covered with white and black marble slabs, the effect is maximized. It feels luxurious and organic thanks to the freestanding platinum French slipper tub and the open-concept rain shower.
