A video from the 2023 NFL Draft has emerged online, showcasing Travis Kelce as the ultimate entertainer and heartthrob. Josh Turner shared a clip from May 2023 on Wednesday, February 28, just a few months before Kelce and Taylor Swift’s romance blossomed. The video captures the Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end delivering a lively rendition of the sultry song “Your Man” by Turner, accompanied by equally enthusiastic dance moves.

In his caption, Turner jests, “Now we know how [Kelce] REALLY caught [Swift’s] eye. ‘Your Man’ works every time.” This isn’t Kelce’s first foray into country music karaoke. Following the Chiefs’ second consecutive Super Bowl victory, Kelce celebrated by belting out a presumably tipsy rendition of Garth Brooks’ “Friends in Low Places” during the team’s victory parade. In a recent segment of TalkShopLive’s Inside Studio G, the renowned country music artist reacted to Kelce’s impromptu performance, expressing his delight. As reported by ET, Brooks remarked, “I loved it. I thought it was fantastic. It blew me away because I’m sitting here watching it as it’s going down, right? I was like, I never expected that.”

Brooks was so impressed that he invited the athlete to perform once again on March 7 at the grand opening of his “Friends in Low Places Bar and Honky Tonk” in Nashville. He even joked, “I’ll send a plane if you want to come and get another shot at the title. I’ll be happy to send this invite out to you if you want to try a little ‘Friends in Low Places’ in Friends in Low Places, but we’re gonna do it early, Travis.” According to People, Swift and Kelce first encountered each other at Arrowhead Stadium in July 2023, where the NFL star was photographed attending her Eras Tour concert. Kelce enjoyed Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour performance from his private box, but the two didn’t formally meet until after the concert ended.

In November 2023, Kelce revealed to WSJ Magazine that he enlisted the help of Taylor Swift’s close friends to catch her attention. Additionally, he mentioned receiving assistance from several members of the Swift family to make an impression, saying, “She’ll probably hate me for saying this, but…when she came to Arrowhead, they gave her the big locker room as a dressing room, and her little cousins were taking pictures…in front of my locker.” With a few mutual connections between the football player and the singer, there were several people who played a role in bringing Kelce and Swift together, including actor Miles Teller, brother of Khalen Saunders, who played with Kelce on the Kansas City Chiefs from 2019 to 2022, as well as Kameron Saunders and NFL commentator Erin Andrews.
