The football coach said that the singer baked for the Kansas City Chiefs “behind-the-scenes”

Taylor Swift scores with her baked goods yet again.

During an interview with Mike Florio and Chris Simms at the NFL Scouting Combine, Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said the pop singer made the team’s offensive linemen some homemade pastries.

“Kind of behind-the-scenes, she, to fit in — she didn’t even know she was doing this, I don’t think — she likes to cook, so she made the offensive linemen these homemade pop tarts,” said Reid. “So it was over. She knew right where to go.”

Simms chimed in to agree that the offensive linemen are the key to fitting in with the rest of the team. “That gets to the [Patrick] Mahomes heart,” he said of the team’s quarterback.

“She didn’t give me one, and the offensive linemen definitely didn’t give me one,” Reid joked of the pop tarts.

Reid said Swift’s gesture was just another example of her being “grounded.”

“I knew her dad and her mom — good, solid people. I met her when she was young. And she’s so grounded for who she is. I mentioned somewhere that since the queen passed away, she might be the most famous woman in the world,” Reid said. “But she handles it.”

While reflecting on his team’s season, Reid said that having Swift attend their games in support of her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, was “never an issue — honestly.”

“Travis handled it great,” he added. “She handled it great. And it was never an issue.”
