The food conglomerate Kellanova has reached out to the world’s biggest pop star, urging her to share the recipe for her version of Pop-Tarts (known as Taylor’s Version).

Following revelations that Taylor Swift baked her own version of the iconic filled and frosted pastries for members of the Kansas City Chiefs’ offensive line, the official Pop-Tarts brand, a subsidiary of Kellanova, took action. They placed a full-page advertisement in the Kansas City Star, expressing interest in Swift’s creation and pledging to donate to @harvesters, a local Feeding America partner food bank, in its honor.

The ad, featuring a mock-up of multiple Pop-Tart boxes styled after a poster from her Eras Tour, also offered to double the donation if Swift released the recipe.

Taylor Swift

Swift became the most high-profile member of Chiefs Kingdom in 2023 amid her romance with Travis Kelce

Swift’s presence at Chiefs games has been a notable highlight throughout the NFL season. Since first attending a game at Arrowhead Stadium in September to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, she has become a prominent figure in Chiefs Kingdom. Swift continued to show her support at various games, both at home and on the road, even witnessing Kelce’s triumphant Super Bowl victory earlier this month in Las Vegas.

However, Swift’s contributions to the Kansas City locker room extended beyond her support for Kelce. According to Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, Swift won over some of Kelce’s teammates by baking homemade Pop-Tarts for them last season.

While Swift’s presence at Chiefs games garnered attention throughout the season, Reid joked that despite her culinary efforts, neither he nor the offensive linemen managed to snag one of her homemade treats.
