Injury Unfolds: Chiefs’ Kadarius Toney and Justyn Ross Receive Official Updates Ahead of Clash with Bills!

As the Chiefs face another challenging matchup on the road against the Buffalo Bills, the anticipation is heightened by the Bills’ unconventional move of bringing in snow shovelers to address field conditions. In the lead-up to this playoff showdown, injury updates on wide receivers Kadarius Toney and Justyn Ross have been disclosed, courtesy of ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Schefter reports, ‘Chiefs are listing WRs Kadarius Toney and Justyn Ross as questionable for Sunday night’s game in Buffalo. Derrick Nnadi, Skyy Moore (IR), and Wanya Morris are being listed as out.’

Both Toney and Ross were absent in the AFC Wild Card round against the Miami Dolphins, but they are now officially designated as questionable for the upcoming clash.

Toney has accumulated 27 catches for 169 yards and one touchdown this season, while Ross has recorded six catches for 53 yards. Despite their relatively limited contributions, the absence of Toney and Ross in the previous game saw rookie Rashee Rice stepping up with an impressive eight catches for 130 yards and a touchdown, leading the team.

Travis Kelce secured the second spot with seven catches for 71 yards. However, beyond that, only one other player, Justin Watson, managed to have more than one catch. The Chiefs’ persistent issue with wide receiver depth throughout the season may pose additional challenges for Patrick Mahomes and the offense if Toney and Ross remain sidelined.

The Chiefs and Bills are set to kick off on Sunday evening at 6:30 PM EST, with the official player statuses to be updated closer to game time.
