Shaquille O’Neil’s The Big Podcast attracts some of the biggest stars in the sports and entertainment world and at the moment there are few names bigger than Jason Kelce.

The NFL center made headlines when he announced to his Philadelphia Eagles teammates that he intends to retire from the game. After a season ending loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Kelce has kept himself busy. The 36-year-old has been following the Kansas City Chiefs, where his brother Travis plays, on their historic Super Bowl run and has been a regular in the stands. Jason Kelce is also the co-host of the New Heights podcast with his brother and is reportedly interested in a career in broadcasting following his retirement.

During a recent episode of The Big Podcast, Shaq opened up about how he approached retirement and had some wise words for the NFL star.

“Enjoy your family brother,” said O’Neil.

Shaq admitted that he made mistakes after retirement and called on Kelce to learn from his errors.

“I made a lot of dumb mistakes. I lost my whole family. I’m in a 100,000 square foot house by myself,” added Shaq.

Jason Kelce is married to Kylie Kelce and is the proud father of three daughters.

After an illustrious NFL career that spanned 13 seasons, it is hard to imagine what more he has to prove in the game. Since being drafted by the Eagles in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL draft, Kelce has gone on to establish himself as one of the premier centers in the league. He has played in 205 games (regular season and playoffs) and was selected to the Pro Bowl in seven occasions. Kelce was also a member of the Eagles Super Bowl winning team that defeated the New England Patriots in 2018.
