Jason Kelce has stayed busy after retirement. He’s appeared on several television shows, hosts a podcast with his brother and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and even made an appearance at WWE’s “WrestleMania” in Philadelphia.
On Wednesday, the former offensive lineman made another surprise appearance. This time, he made his way to Jeopardy! – not as a contestant, or an answer, but as an entire category.
“The World According to Jason Kelce” included an especially funny moment when the ex-Philadelphia Eagle appeared on screen to sing the lyrics to “Push It” by Salt-N-Pepa.
The NFL season and Jason’s career may be over, but the Kelce’s haven’t gotten a lot of rest this offseason.
Travis has traveled around the world with girlfriend and international pop star Taylor Swift, while Jason locked down his first big post-NFL job as an analyst for Monday Night Football on ESPN.
The brothers are so busy that they won’t even be able to get their “New Heights” podcast out on its usual Thursday release date. The episode will only drop one day later on Friday, but it’s a testament to how much the brothers are doing lately.
Travis is gearing up for another NFL season after he recently signed a new deal to become the highest-paid tight end in the sport.
He’ll team up with Patrick Mahomes and the rest of the Kansas City Chiefs as they look to win an unprecedented third consecutive Super Bowl.
Jason Kelce retired earlier this year after spending his entire career with the Eagles. He was a seven-time Pro Bowler, six-time All Pro and a Super Bowl champion, a resume that is sure to earn induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Kelce will one day be recognized as one of the greatest offensive linemen of his era, but for now, having an entire Jeopardy! category dedicated to his honor will have to do.
