LeBron James (left ankle peroneal tendinopathy) is classified as doubtful and Anthony Davis (left eye contusion) as probable for the Los Angeles Lakers’ game against the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night.

Following his absence from the previous game against the Minnesota Timberwolves because of flu-like symptoms, LeBron suit up for the Lakers on Tuesday night against the Warriors. Although Davis was able to recover sufficiently to participate and perform admirably against the Warriors, the Lakers were unable to overcome Davis’ absence in the end.

After taking an elbow to the face during the game against the Timberwolves, Davis missed the rest of the game, aggravating an existing eye ailment. Then, with a headache and nausea, he would miss Tuesday’s game against the Warriors, but he was not placed in the concussion protocol.

The Lakers, who are officially guaranteed a spot in the Play-In Tournament, need to win these final two games of the season.
