The revelation that LeBron James turned down a bid from the Golden State Warriors to acquire him in a deadline deal sent shockwaves through the NBA world. According to ESPN’s Zach Lowe, the Warriors may not be finished in their pursuit of James. “You can’t blame the Warriors for trying, and I’ll tell you this… I don’t think the Warriors are done trying because like Steph [Curry] said, why not pick up the phone and keep on trying?” Lowe said.

James currently holds a $51.4 million player option for the 2024-25 season, providing him with flexibility in his decision-making process. Should he choose to explore free agency in the future, the possibility remains open for him to consider joining the Warriors.
