Indiana dropped their second straight game at home after blowing leads in the last minute, even though they were once again missing two-time All-Star Tyrese Haliburton. Despite missing a chance to tie the game in the final seconds, Andrew Nembhard finished with 24 points, 10 assists, and 6 rebounds. The Pacers were never able to get the ball back.

TJ McConnell scored 15 points, Aaron Nesmith scored 14, and Indiana’s Pascal Siakam added 19 points and 10 rebounds.

As always, the youthful team put up a strong fight to prolong their season, as Pacers coach Rick Carlisle had pledged. When Pacers center Myles Turner slammed White to the ground in the third, Brown grabbed Turner’s shoulder, and Turner shoved Brown away, there was a brief eruption of enmity.

Turner and Brown each received technical fouls after Turner was called for an offensive foul. However, neither the series nor the game’s back-and-forth tone were altered by that altercation.

Despite having leads or ties going into the last minute three times, Indiana lost, and Monday’s loss came courtesy of a late Boston comeback.

It’s the hardest game. Regarding the elimination process, Tatum remarked, “It’s the most enjoyable, too.
